Customer continued to have writer errors. We had set the write speed to 2x, then to blank.
Yesterday I went over to install another backup program.
While there I found the DVD Region code was not set in the device. I set the DVD region to 1 and the backup worked 4 times in a row on the same disks previously written that had given errors.
I still do not know why we need to erase. The Backup will not ""OVerwrite" the previous backup, even though the write over is checked.
