My Backup file is approx 2.9 gig . I am using temp file to create backup first. Backup works fine if I use DVD+RW but not DVD+R . I have tried changing max zip file size on backup page to 2000 mb because I understand that you cannot have a file size over 2 gig on DVD+R. Help?

A multi session DVD-R and DVD+R is only readable with Windows 2000 sp3 and later or Windows XP and a DVD drive that supports multi session (border). You may therefore not be able to read the content of the DVD.
