I'm a little confused regarding the separate system state & registry backup options. If I choose the system state backup, does that include all aspects of the registry or do I still need to add the separate registry option? Thanks, Chris.

In fact zipbackup does not make the difference. The registry is part of the system state. However, if you try to backup only the registry (w/o systemstate), you backup will be empty.
This is due to the fact that ntbackup which is used for this job does not save the registry alone. So just disregard the registry option.
