I am trying to back up a large HD. I specified the maximum Zip file size of 4095 MB. Despite this the program is making a larger Zip file (over 5.5 GB, and growing, as of this writing). The message in the program window saying that it is creating a zip file shows the size of the current Zip file to be 3985 MB. This value is stuck, despite the addition of further files to the zip file. So it seems that it does not know it should stop, as the set limit csannot be reached, because the counter is stuck.
Because this had worked properly before (Under Win 2K Pro, fully updated), I tried reinstalling the program, but the same still happens.
What else coud I do?
(As a temporary workaround I will try to specify a smaller file size)
