Subject: not automatically changing the backup file destination

Hi,

I am running Windows XP Pro with all service packs installed. I have installed the latest version of Zip Backup to CD "Zip Backup to CD version 3.19.5.496" I have 3 DVD burners in my system.

I can not get the program to change to a different burner when the first one is filled up. The program is displaying the correct amount of space available on the disk. I have it set to use the path and I have put the drive letters in as the help file specified. Still no luck.

Here is a copy of the dat file for the job.

As you can see it is pretty straight forward. I have changed the "temp path" to "C:\BackupTemp\" and then have excluded this from the backup process. Once the 1st DVD disk gets full the program does not go onto the next DVD drive. I have to manually remove the first DVD disk and swap it with the second drive for the program to burn to it. I have switched the drive letters around to see if that helps, but not change in behavior.

Help. Can the program do this? Do I need to have all the DVD drives from the same manufacture and the same model?

It should work but you may try to change the max zip file size to 1Gb as not all file systems can handle files of 4Gb size.

You do not need to have the burners from the same manufacturer.
