Backup takes in excess of 6 hrs then ends with Error Msg: "Not a a valid Zip file!" Made 3 attempts with successively smaller files to backup--same results all 3 times. Why 6hrs? Why error msg?

Which version of Zip Backup to CD are you using? How much free disk space do you have on that drive where your temp path is located? If you try with a few small files what does than happen? And how big is the greatest file? Have you selected split large files? If you select split files you need at least as much free temp space as the total size of the greatest file when it is packed plus the max zip file size. Is your destination a CD or DVD?

Thanks for your help.
A: I am using version 3.18.7.408
A: 23.7GB is free on the that drive where temp path is located.
A: I tried a few small files. They compressed and wrote to DVD successfully.
A: 11.4GB is size of largest file to be backed up
A: I have not selected split large files
A: The destination is DVD disk.
Q: Can I choose the temp path? If so where?
Q: I changed name of .dat file yet log file shows old name used before change. Why?

I've noticed .zip files from old backups in temp directory.
Shouln't they get deleted after successful BU?
Is there a size limit for size of data per windows XP directory?
