Subject: Error message showing insufficient space on DVD |

The drive is recognized as a Sony DRU-710A Dual Layer. When using memorez DVD+RW disc there was no problem. Now that I have switched to Sony brand, the program keeps giving me errors with...message not enough disc space when in fact there is. I have tried to fully erase, format with Nero software that came with the drive but still no luck. I purchased many of the Sony brand and would like to use them.

Download the latest version the prior versions do not have the disc status check function.
Please If you go to the CD/DVD tab select the devise lookup box and select the device where the media is inserted and let the device stay active (the text is blue) and press ctrl+s then you will get the status of the disc in the selected device (it will be printed in the status/log field at the bottom of the page.
Please mark, copy and paste the test and send it to me.
What type of aspi driver is loaded info is in the same field, if it is not SPTI then try to check "Use internal ASPI driver" if it make any difference you should see
the free space reported change. (the Backup tab).
