Subject: Access Violation |

For the last couple of days I have been getting an access violation message which results in a lot of small files being created on the hard drive and not being written to the CD as invariably there is an error.
Should I try reinstalling the software?

Reinstall does not change anything as the program file is not depended on a install procedure. The installation is only copying the file to the programs folder.
You should try to run a simple backup job with only a few files. If that works try to select a few folders until you find the folder with the problem.

Thank you. I tried to backup one folder but on starting the job I immediately got an error message which read as follows: "Access violation at address 00401CAD in module 'zipbackup.exe'. Write of address 746E6F6D"
It appears that the problem seems to be with the program not the data that it is attempting to back up. Can you help please.
